Working directly with our web hosts FirstServ we protect your data from accidental loss, theft, denial and corruption.

Being web-based, Booking Booster stores your data centrally in our Data Centre in London Docklands, protecting it from any in-house technical problems that you may have.

During the process of registration for our paid-for products, Booking Booster will collect your credit card details. While you input your information you can rest assured that the transaction takes place securely by viewing the padlock symbol in your web browser. This indicates that our Thawte secure certification prevents the interception of your details by third parties.

Data Protection

Booking Booster does not enable our customers to communicate directly with other customers or to post information to be accessed by others without the implicit registration of the intention for such communication to take place on the part of the customer.

We collect the personal data that you may volunteer while using our services but we do not collect information about our customers from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations, with the exception of data provided by our customers to the extranets of their agents and accessed by us at the behest of our customers.

We do not collect or use personal data for any purpose other than that indicated at the point on the site where the data is collected.

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, we offer you the means to consent to this new purpose: by indicating in a box at the point on the site where personal data is collected.

We do not disclose your personal data to our subsidiaries or other organisations.

We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from:

  • unauthorised access
  • improper use or disclosure
  • unauthorised modification
  • unlawful destruction or accidental loss

All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our customers' personal data.

We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

By sending us an email you can ask us whether we are keeping personal data about you and upon request we will provide you with a readable copy of the personal data which we keep about you. We may require proof of your identity before we supply this information. We will provide the information at a charge of GBP 10.

We allow you to challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data erased, rectified / amended or completed.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide our customers with a copy of their personal data, but will give reasons for our refusal.

We do, however, allow you to challenge our decision to refuse to provide you with a copy of your personal data.

Defence

In an increasingly hostile on-line environment, any organisation that relies on the web for their business operations needs to protect their critical infrastructure against external threats.

Our hosting company provide dynamic, real-time proactive defence for network and application-based attacks. This includes defence against security threats including Hackers, Trojans, Web Server Attacks, Worms and Distributed Denial Of Service Attacks.

Backup

Our hosting company perform a daily data backup using our industrial tape machines. Tapes are stored out of the cage in a fire proof safe. Backups are incremental on a daily basis with a full backup once a week.

Data Centres & Network

Our hosting company provide a network architecture that is built to be resilient and scaleable and are committed to the provision of bandwidth across multiple diverse links which do not depend on any single UK backbone.

All facilities operate computerised building management systems that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak detection systems.

In the London Docklands Data Centre qualified engineering staff are on site 24/7.
